Delete your FairChore account
You can delete your account yourself in a few taps, and nothing is kept. This page tells you where the button is and exactly what disappears.
From the app or the website, in three steps
- Sign in to your account.
- Open your profile, then "Delete my account".
- Read what will disappear, tick the box, confirm. It happens right away.
Already uninstalled the app?
Email team@fairchore.com from the account's address and ask for it to be deleted. We do it within 30 days at most, without asking why and without offering you anything else.

- Your email address, your name, your password and your avatar.
- The link to your Google account, if that is how you signed in.
- Your preferences, your reminders, your notifications and your sign-in history.
- The chores you logged: they also disappear from your households' history, the one the other members see.
- Your points balance: it is redistributed to the other members of the household, so that their totals stay correct.
- The profiles you manage for other people, usually children: they do not exist without you.
- Your premium subscription, cancelled in the same move. No payment outlives your account.
Your households
If you administer a household, administration passes to the member who joined first. The others carry on without you.
If a household has nobody in it but you, it is deleted together with your account.
What stays, and why
What the other members of your households logged belongs to them and does not move. Their balance is corrected so it stays correct, and your name no longer appears in them.
No waiting period, no going back
Deletion happens immediately. There is no grace period, no dormant account, no way to restore it. If you come back one day, it will be with a brand new account.
